Online campaigns increase offline sales.
A 3 month study reported by Consumer Direct Online showed an increase in the volume of sales of people who saw an online campaign versus those who did not.
Some numbers:
Jell-O +7.5%
CoffeeMate +10%
Ford F-150 +6%
It shouldn't be much of a surprise that advertising online will also aid your physical location sales because neither exists in a vacuum. So go ahead and try some advertising online and see if there is a spike in offline sales. There's no guarantee you'll see a substantial return. But as long as you are testing and measuring the results you can guarantee that you won't lose much money in the process, and you may find a real winner!
