Test your sites elements by running simple A/B tests.

You can test how elements on your site affect response by running simple A/B split tests.

And you don't need a degree in mathematics to know when it's statistically signigficant.

Here's how:

First create 3 pages:

  1. A - The original page
  2. B - The page with the altered element
  3. C - The original page once again.

You will run the test until the response rates of A and C are equal, which they will become at some point because they are the same page! At that point you look and see how B fared. If it has a higher rate, it is a winner!
