Long Copy vs Short Copy
Which is better?
There are some who swear by long copy advertisements. Others think you need to make your case short but sweet. So what works best on the web?
The answer is... both!
Short copy may work best for you. On the other hand it might be long copy that earns a greater response. Both stategies have been successful for different companies on the web.
The only way to determine which is best for your product is to test. First, write as much copy as you feel you need to make your case. Test what you have just written against a highly edited version that breaks the advantages down into charts, graphs or tables and only mentions the top benefits.
Then sit back and let the market tell you what works best.
