Design your marketing materials around the physical limitations of your prospects.

This is especially important if you are marketing to seniors. For example, seniors have a hard time reading glossy material because of the glare.

Also, as people age, their lenses yellow making it difficult to see the colors blue, green and purple.

You won't make the sale if people can't read your offer. To sell to seniors, keep the fonts large, make the design clean and save the gloss for the young'uns!
